STOP THE CYCLE

Losing your cool is embarrassing, but it happens to all of us. For some of us it's no big deal but, if it becomes a habit and starts to affect the ones we love, we can begin to lose their respect and their trust pretty quickly. If we do nothing about it, there's a good chance we will lose them altogether.

When it comes to relationships and conflict, we can only use the best tools that we've been given. No amount of willpower is going to change that. Until someone shows us new ways of managing our temper and communicating with others, we're probably going to keep doing what we've always done.

bringING hope to unhappy homes

The Circuit Breaker course is somewhere that thousands of people have been able to find help, change and a new life. It's a ten week group based program for anyone who feels their temper is affecting the quality of their relationships.

With training and support, churches and community groups can now deliver the Circuit Breaker program in their local communities; bringing hope to people who are becoming abusive.

OUR FACILITATORS

Facilitators of the program don't need to be counsellors or teachers. Most of them are ordinary people who take an interest in others, and step up to facilitate discussions in small groups. They do this with the strong support of a proven program, course videos, a comprehensive facilitator manual, online training and support.

“I have known Matt Boulton professionally for more than a decade and have been impressed with his past work in counselling with couples and individuals caught up in domestic and family violence. Matt has applied his vast learnings and experience in developing 'Circuit Breaker', an outstanding program to help our communities to respond to domestic and family violence in proactive ways rather than reactively. I recommend any civic leader and helping professionals to take a close look at this life changing program."
